The draw for the 2024 European Championships group stage has been held and everyone is ready to lap up all the excitement available.

The matches expected from these groups look mind-boggling, as many are already making permutations on teams that will qualify from various groups.

Euro 2024 has been slated to take place in Germany and it would go down from the 14th of June 2024 to the 14th of July 2024.

Several star European players will be on parade for their countries and fans should obviously expect the best of football.

With the groupings made on Saturday, December 2, 2023, some individuals feel that Group B is the group of death and one that is really unpredictable.

The group houses two past winners and a fierce challenger globally and continentally in the past decade.

Euro 2024 finalist, England looks to be in a group that won't give them many issues in terms of qualification, as they have had the upper hand against some of these nations in recent years.

Gareth Southgate's side have Denmark, Slovenia, and Serbia to battle, with the group stage draw held in Hamburg on Saturday.

Neighboring country, Scotland, will have to navigate a fierce group that includes; Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary.

Cristiano Ronaldo's path with Portugal towards another Euro 2024 also looks easy via the group stage, as they look like wholesome favorites to progress out of a group that includes; the Czech Republic, Turkey, and a team that will qualify via the play-offs.

France, who have in the past decade been favorites for virtually every competition they go into, will also have to battle some challenges in the group phase which they will be hoping to surmount.

Les Blues are drawn in a group that includes; the Netherlands, Ralf Ragnick's Austria, and a team that will also qualify via the play-offs.

Belgium, whose “Golden Generation” of players couldn't deliver a trophy, battle once again in Euro 2024, hoping that their available crop of players could lead them to golden heights.

They are grouped alongside Romania, Slovakia, and lastly, a team that will make it to the competition via the play-offs.

The play-offs to determine the last 3 teams that will play in the 2024 European Championships will go down from the 21st of March to the 26th of March 2023.

12 teams will slug it out in the playoffs for the last 3 berths, with Wales joining Poland, Estonia, Finland, Israel, Iceland, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Luxembourg, Greece and Kazakhstan.

These nations will be fighting hard to ensure that they qualify for the competition, but there are only 3 slots available, and only the most determined sides can get it.
