Everton have completed the signing of Youssef Chermiti from Sporting Lisbon for a reported fee of £15 million.
Youssef Chermiti has signed a four-year deal with the Toffees, which will see him remain at Goodison Park until June 2027.
He made 22 appearances for Sporting Lisbon last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists across all competitions.
Conform his arrival to the Merseyside club, Everton put out a statement on their official website which reads:
“Youssef Chermiti has signed for Everton from Sporting Clube de Portugal for an undisclosed fee, the striker agreeing a four-year contract until the end of June 2027.”
He becomes the 3rd arrival to Sean Dyche's side this summer, joining Arnaut Danjuma and Ashley Young.
The 19-year-old goal poacher has got immense talents which could see him become one of the best in years to come.
Youssef Chermiti also had his thoughts on joining Everton, expressing that it was a move that he “couldn't turn down”.
In his first interview with the club, Chermiti said: “I couldn't turn down this opportunity - it's a big moment and I'm fully focused to get to work.”
