Ex-convict who stole Okada arrested in Ogun State
The So-Safe Corps which is the Social Orientation and Safety Corps in Ogun State have arrested a man who is an ex-convict for stealing okada.
This man is 21 years old and has served 2 jail terms prior to this incident.
The man has been identified as Timothy Sonyegbe, and he is a vulcanizer. Reports state that he stole a motorcycle in Ogun State in Ipokia Local Government Area.
Timothy was placed on surveillance because he has already served 2 jail terms. They saw him riding a motorcycle at a strange time of the night.
Some officers who were on patrol then stopped him. He attempted to escape but they chased, caught him and arrested him.
He confessed to stealing the bike while he was being interrogated. They also recovered 2 phones from him.
They have handed him over to the Police Divisional Headquarters in Ipokia.
