Ex-Vice Chairman of delta community kills lover and flees
An Ex-Vice Chairman of a community in Delta State has killed his lover and fled. This incident happened on Friday afternoon.
This man has been identified as Austin Ejovwoand he is the former Vice Chairman of Okolor Inland community. This community is located in the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
This man allegedly killed his lover who has been identified as Felicia Akpomeria, and he has fled.
The victim, Felicia was 45 years old and she was a single mother having four children. She had these children from her previous marriage which had failed before she met her new lover.
Her body was found in his bedroom in his apartment. She was found in a pool of her own blood.
Mr Bright Edafe who is the Police Public Relations Officer in Delta State has confirmed this incident.
He says the woman was found in a pool of her blood on his bed.
We learnt this incident has caused issued between the 2 communities(okolor and the woman's community, Ubogo)
One of her relations revealed that felicia had gotten a call from Austin to come over on Thursday evening. He says by Friday, they got a call that she had been killed.
Her corpse has been removed from the apartment. Some family members have been called to the station to make statements including her daughters.
The police found out that when neighbours didn’t hear from Austin on Friday morning, tgey then checked his door only to realize he had left. They then peeped through his window and saw Felicia's body.
They then broke the door and alerted others. When they got into the room they saw many fetish items for worshiping idols on the floor. They also revealed that Felicia was fully unclad and was already dead.
They noticed several machete cuts at the back of her head and on her chest. She was also covered in blood.
