Out-of-favor Man United winger Facundo Pellistri has joined La Liga club Granada on loan from Manchester United.

Pellistri joins the list of out-of-favor Man United players loaned out of the club this January as ten Hag continues to sanitize the squad.

Manchester United first loaned out former Ajax star Donny van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt after his recent difficult spell at the club.

Jadon Sancho has also been loaned to another German club Borussia Dortmund following his fallout with Erik ten Hag.

Another player who has also left the club on loan this January is Tunisia wonder kid Hannibal Mejbri, 20, who is set to spend the rest of the season with Sevilla.

Pellistri is the fourth player that has left Manchester United on loan this season.

The Uruguayan winger joined Manchester United in 2020 from Penarol on a five-year. In his four seasons with the Red Devils, it has been a sad tale of dwindling fortunes.

Throughout his Old Trafford stint, Pellistri has managed only 24 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions. This season, he has made 14 appearances with the club, recording two starts and coming from the bench in 12.

With the rise of Kobbie Mainoo and the return of Amad Diallo from injury, Facundo Pellistri's Manchester United deadlock was set to continue as Erik ten Hag considers him down the pecking order in relation to the aforementioned players, hence his loan exit was long envisaged.

He has 18 months left on his Manchester United contract and is expected back at the club after his short-term loan move. However, a permanent move is not ruled out.
