Falz preaches against cyberbullying, shows support for Alex Iwobi
Nigerian singer and rapper Falz preached against cyberbullying by urging fellow Nigerians to stop directing their anger towards Alexander Iwobi. He posited that when a team loses, it is unfair to single out one of its members. They all played a game and lost. If they had won, every one of them would have been celebrated.
He then added, "We win together, we lose together. Every single player that puts on the green white green to represent us, is making an immense sacrifice and does not deserve to be treated with this much disdain. We speak a lot about cyber bullying but we are so quick to turn against our own. @alexanderiwobi Love you bro! Thank you."
Recall that when the Super Eagles lost the AFCON Cup to Ivory Coast, Nigerians claimed that the loss was due to Alex Iwobi's poor skills on the field. They went to his page to mock him, calling him incompetent over the team's loss. It got to a point that Alex had to delete all the pictures on his IG because the words had really messed with his mind.
