Falz Speaks about his ACL surgery, says "it was difficult for him"

Popular Nigerian musician Falz has spoken up about his ACL surgery which he had sometime in May. Falz is a singer and rapper and his full name is Folarin Falana.

He has shared some information about the knee surgery he had and why he had the surgery. He had torn his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He shared all these during a recent interview with Tacha on Cool FM.

Recall Falz underwent an ACL surgery in May, 2023 in London, United Kingdom this was after his ACL got damaged while he had been playing football. He shared that it was difficult because his knee had in a way scattered.

He said "It's a very difficult time for me. I had ACL reconstruction surgery. For those people that are aware of that, your ACL is like a ligament that holds your knee together. So what actually happened is that ligament tore so the knee kind of scattered. It was an actual football injury, I was just running and the thing just come out like that. This is a slightly common injury for athletes but I am glad I am back".

He also shared "Now I’m in rehab doing physiotherapy. Just exercising and trying to build the muscle back to 100%.”

Recall he had originally announced the news about his knee surgery via an Instagram post some weeks ago. He revealed how it happened and shared that it occured on the 23rd of November 2022 when he was playing football. He had the surgery done in the 2nd of May, 2023, in London.

In the video he had shared on Instagram, he said and was walking with a limp and that was on the 26th of November 2022.

He shared that he didn't even know what happened that day, he just knew it felt really painful. It was the MRI result that showed that he had torn his ACL and the doctors advised that he goes through surgery to fix it.
