Modou Adams is a 25 year old social media personality and influencer. He has thousands of followers on his social media and he proudly shows off his money. He was arrested for attempting to smuggle hard drugs and he has been given his sentence. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
He had been trying to smuggle cocaine out of Peru. He was arrested on the 30th of September at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Peru. He jadthe Airport when he was caught. Almost 3 kilograms of cocaine was discovered in his suitcase. The officers at the airport found a hidden compartment in his suitcase and cut into it when they discovered the drugs.
He had been heading for London when he was caught. He was transporting 3kg of cocaine to London. Modou Adams admitted his crimes and pleaded guilty of the drug trafficking charge. He was given a fine of £1,500 and his sentence. Apparently, this wasn't his first time sneaking drugs out of the country. Ever since he was caught, his TikTok account has been deleted but his Instagram account is still being displayed. His last post was on the 26th of September which was 4 days before he was arrested.
