Fans tackle Wizkid and tear his trousers while trying to hug him during performance.
Popular Nigerian musician Wizkid was recently tackled by some fans on the stage during a performance. This incident was caused by some fans of the singer who wanted to hug him while he was performing and they eventually pulled him to the floor and also ripped his trousers. This incident occured quite a while back and this had been during a live performance. The show was held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Wizkid is an award winning famous Afrobeats artist in Nigeria. His real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun. A recent video was seen circulating on social media recently whereby the star was tackled to the ground on stage mid performance and the security were trying to pry the fans off him.
He was dragged to the floor by fans and while the security were trying to pry the fans, the singer kept a calm look on his face. Fans noted that the star was all smiles even in the midst of this incident. Some of his fans grabbed him and held on to him very tightly. In the midst of all these, the pant trousers he was wearing tore. He eventually called them back after the incident.
