Fela used to send his P.A to London to buy sweets and ice cream for him, Seun Kuti says
While arguing about the way of life of some Pan Africanists, Seun Kuti, Fela Anikulapo's son revealed that his father used to send his P.A to buy ice cream and sweets for him in the United Kingdom. He added how Fela's PA used to book a flight to London every Tuesday morning and would arrive in the United Kingdom by 3:00 p.m., just to purchase his father's favorite sweet. Seun said the sweet was known as the Burnt of London because it was produced on Burnt Street in the United Kingdom. He added that being a Pan-Africanist doesn't limit one's enjoyment to Africa. A Pan-Africanist can explore cultures from around the world and a great example was his father.
Seun Anikulapo Kuti is the son of legendary musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti. He was born on the 11th of January, 1983, and is currently 41 years old. Seun is a Nigerian singer who followed the footsteps of his father and later became the head of his father's band, Egypt 80. He is well-known in the Nigerian Media space with thousands of followers on social media.
