FG awaits forensic results from the Ibadan explosion site
According to the newsmen of Channels TV, the Federal Government of Nigeria is waiting on the forensic results from the Ibadan explosion site. This will enable them to identify the cause of the explosion and assist in directing the ongoing investigations. Structural engineers have been deployed to the explosion site to check the condition of the houses affected by the explosion.
One of the Engineers whose name is Obim Okutinyang said the explosion has affected a lot of houses and each of them must be accessed before the residents will be permitted to enter the building to bring out their valuables. Until then, the occupants of the affected houses must exercise patience.
It was reported that the majority of the buildings that were examined have been seriously damaged with ripped roofs. Therefore, a careful examination of the buildings is important to ensure the safety of the residents.
