FG orders secretariat to be closed from May 26 in preparation for inauguration

As part of the preparation for the inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu and the Vice-President-elect Shettima, the Federal government has ordered that secretariat complexes should be closed from May 26, 2023.

The inauguration is set to hold on the 29th of May, 2023 which is next week.

Preparations have been put in place for the inauguration ceremony.

The FG gave the order that security agencies should ensure the Federal Secretariat Complexes Phases l, Il, Ill are closed from May 26.

They explained that the reason behind this is so as to ensure that the inauguration runs smoothly without hitches.

The inauguration is set to take place at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

Security arrangements have been made for this program.

Recall a few weeks back, the FG directed all airlines to move their plans from the Abuja Airport runway as well.

Workers in the Federal Secretariat have been told to keep away from the secretariat during this period.
