Pep Guardiola has been named FIFA Best Men's Player of the Year 2023 following his outstanding campaign with Manchester City last season.

Guardiola won Manchester City's first treble and the second of his managerial career as he led the Cityzens to FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League victory.

He also followed up his prolific season with Manchester City by adding the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to Manchester City's trophy room.

Sarina Wiegman wins Best Women's Coach of the Year

England women's national team manager Sarina Wiegman has been crowned as the winner of FIFA Best Women's Coach of the Year 2023.

Since winning the 2022 Women's Euros, Wiegman has been on the rise in her managerial career. She won the Finalissima and reached the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup final.

Ederson wins Best Men's Goalkeeper of the Year

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has been named best men's goalkeeper in 2023 following his standout performance for Manchester City last season. The 30-year-old Brazilian shot-stopper recorded his 100th Premier League clean sheet last season.

Ederson kept the sticks for City throughout their treble-winning campaign. He also helped the Premier League giants add the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to the treble. Ederson produced some standout moments throughout Manchester City's Champions League campaign.

Mary Earps wins Best Women's Goalkeeper Award

England women's national team goalkeeper Mary Earps has been crowned best women's goalkeeper following his standout performance for the Lionesses of England and Manchester United Women.

Earps, 30, won the Best Women Super League Goalkeeper last season and kept a record 14 clean sheets in 22 matches for Manchester United. She towered on goal for England as well, helping the team Finalissima win, including reaching the final of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Aitana Bonmati wins Best Women's Player of the Year

Barcelona and Spain star Aitana Bonmati has been deservedly crowned the best female footballer in 2023, succeeding Alexis Putellas.

Aitana registered a brilliant international and club career in 2023. She won the UEFA Women's Champions League with Barcelona Femeni and was instrumental in Spain's 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup victory over England.

Lionel Messi wins FIFA Best Men's Player of The Year

Lionel defeated Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to be crowned FIFA Best Men's Player of the Year 2023. Messi won the French Cup with PSG in the year, including the French Ligue 1 title.

He followed up his club successes with PSG with a sensational 2022 World Cup campaign. The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner capped his heroic career by leading Argentina to their third World Cup trophy.

After the World Cup triumph, Messi left PSG but has continued on his mercurial run with his new outfit Inter Miami.
