A lot of changes are expected to happen at Bayern Munich before the start of the next season.

Since the manager, Thomas Tuchel decided to quit the football club at the end of the season, Bayern Munich want to bring in new players capable of making them compete for Silverwares next season.

For this to happen, they are looking forward to selling different players. Bayern Munich are reportedly expected to offload five players at the end of the season.

These players are heavily linked to Real Madrid and 2022–23 Champions League winners Manchester City.

1. Leon Goretzka
The German midfielder appears on the list of players Bayern Munich are looking forward to offloading this season.

Despite being a prominent starter under previous manager Julian Nagelsmann, the Bayern Munich hierarchy wants to cash in on the midfielder, with Manchester United monitoring the situation.

2. Joshua Kimmich
The long-serving midfielder is likely to leave the German Bundesliga giant at the end of the season. The club are looking forward to replacing Kimmich with Joao Palhinha next season.

The 29-year-old midfielder has been linked to various football clubs in Europe. He wants a new challenge that is totally different from the German Bundesliga.

3. Leroy Sane
The Bayern Munich winger may also be shown the exit door at the end of the season.

Sane had been in fine form under Thomas Tuchel this season, scoring five goals and creating 12 assists in all competitions.

Liverpool and Manchester City fancy signing the midfielder if Bayern Munich decide to sell.

4. Serge Gnabry
The winger had failed to make a positive impact this season. Gnabry had been struggling with injuries.

The attacker had been a subject of interest for Chelsea, who are looking forward to adding more forces to their attack next season.

5. Alphonso Davies
Real Madrid's long-time target, Davies, is another player Bayern Munich will be looking forward to selling at the end of the season.

The highly-rated left-back sees a move to La Liga as an upgrade in his career after his demand for an increase in wages got rebuffed by Bayern Munich.

If Davies joins Real Madrid, Bayern Munich will focus on bringing Theo Hernandez from AC Milan as a worthy replacement for the player.

How Bayern Munich Are Likely To Lose The Bundesliga Title For The First Time in 12 Years

When it comes to the German Bundesliga title, Bayern Munich have always been the favorite every season.

However, it is expected to be a different ball game this season, with Bayer Leverkusen leading the reigning Champions with 11 points.

The Bayer Leverkusen side are currently unbeaten in the league this season, with Bayern Munich currently in second place with 50 points from 22 matches.

It will be extremely difficult for Bayer Leverkusen to drop from the top of the table with their stellar performances week in and week out.
