Florentino Perez, Real Madrid president seems to have ended beyond doubt the assumption indicating that the club's coach Carlo Ancelotti could take charge of Brazil's national team this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti has been heavily linked with a move to take over Brazil's national team ever since Tite left, following the Selecao's early departure from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, but according to Florentino Perez, the Italian tactician is going nowhere.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has openly pursued Carlo Ancelotti, who started his coaching career in international football as an assistant with the Italian national team in the early 1990s.Screenshot_2023_0508_082658.png

Ancelotti is under contract at the Bernabeu until the end of next season after leading his team to a 2-1 victory over Osasuna in Seville to win the club's first trophy of 2022/23.

After Real Madrid defeated Osasuna in a tightly contested Copa del Rey final in Seville, the club's president was in jubilant spirits.Screenshot_2023_0508_082608.png

Speaking after Real Madrid's victory, Florentino Perez said; "I don't want to hear any more on the subject, He (Ancelotti) has a contract, and we are all happy".

He added; "I'm very happy because every time you win a title it's a reason to be happy. All titles are won with a lot of effort and sacrifice. I want to congratulate Osasuna for the season they've had, they've worked their hearts out and it's worthy of respect".

Ancelotti has never been shy about sharing his feelings for Real Madrid. He went as far as saying he has no intention of leaving the La Liga powerhouses any time soon if they have no such desire to part ways with him.

The unflappable Italian's remarkable success since returning to Madrid in the summer of 2021 made rumors of his departure all the more surprising.

Ancelotti has led Real Madrid to multiple titles in his two stints as a coach, including the Spanish Cup, league title, Champions League, domestic and European Super Cups, and Club World Cup after their victory on Saturday.

A seemingly unstoppable Manchester City side will be arriving in Madrid on Tuesday night for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final match, so Ancelotti and Madrid don't have much time to celebrate.
