There are some football facts that are so magnificent that repetition of them are almost impossible in the nearest future.

These stats were created by exceptional players and well-recognized football clubs all over the world. These stats sound fake, but they are real. Below are some of them:


Gary Lineker Did Not Receive A Single Yellow Card In His 647-Game Career

The English striker who played for Barcelona never received a yellow card and was never sent off during his playing time. He was known as one of the nicest football guys for his success in La Liga.

Lineker scored 51 goals in 138 appearances for Barcelona, along with winning the Spanish Cup and the Europa Pokal title.

Philipp Lahm Went 13 Months Without Committing A Single Foul In The German Bundesliga

The German legend was regarded as a professional when it came to making clean tackles. This impressive record was from September 2014 to October 2015.

During these 13 months, Lahm made 24 appearances on a stretch without a foul. To demonstrate how incredible the stat was, Dayot Upamecano committed 30 fouls in 29 matches.

In addition, Lahm had never received a red card before in his career, despite having made 750 appearances all through his career.

No English manager has won the Premier League

Since the beginning of the Premier League in 1992, no English manager has won the Premier League.

Only 11 managers have won the Premier League in history, with Sir Alex Ferguson winning 13. Four Italian managers (Claudio Ranieri, Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti, and Roberto Mancini) have won the title.

Pep Guardiola is the only Spanish manager to have won the prestigious English title. Arsene Wenger is the only French manager to win three Premier League titles with Arsenal.

Jose Mourinho, who is Portuguese, won three Premier League titles. The only German manager to have won the Premier League title is Jurgen Klopp in the 2019–2020 season with Liverpool.

The other two managers to have won the English title are Manuel Pellegrini and Kevin Keegan.

Theirry Henry Has Never Scored A Single Final Goal

The Arsenal legend never turned up for his football club in nine Cup finals. Despite being a world-recognized player, he failed to score for his team in the final. His last Arsenal final was against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Virgil van Dijk Played 90 matches at Anfield and lost one match
The Dutch defender has been impressive since joining Liverpool from Southampton. His performances won him recognition as the greatest Premier League defender over the years. He played 90 matches at Anfield, losing just one match.

Chelsea conceded 15 goals in 38 matches in the Premier League 2004–2005 season
Jose Mourinho won the Premier League title in his first season at Chelsea in the 2004–05 season. It was Chelsea's first Premier League title in 50 years.

The team conceded only 15 goals, with Petr Cech, John Terry, and Ricardo Carvalho being instrumental in Chelsea's exceptional record that season.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona won La Liga six times, from 2014 to 2021. Griezmann played for both clubs and has won zero league titles

Despite becoming Atletico Madrid's highest goal scorer and lifting different titles, the French attacker failed to win the LA Liga title in seven years playing for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Eden Hazard Won Six Player of the Year Awards in Seven Years of Playing in Different Leagues

The Belgium attacker won Premier League player of the year in the 2014–15 season and PFA Young Player of the Year in the 2013–14 season. In addition, the attacker won Ligue 1 Player of the Year in the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons, coupled with Young Player of the Year in the 2008–09 and 2009–2010 seasons.
