Footballer Alexander Iwobi deletes his IG photos after Nigerians relentlessly dragged him online
Nigerian footballer Alexander Iwobi has deleted all his Instagram pictures after Nigerians relentlessly dragged him for not playing well at the AFCON finals. After last night's match, tons of Nigerians channeled their anger on Iwobi, calling him a horrible player. This is no different from cyberbullying and the footballer was pushed to delete his pictures.
Before the bullying became intense, some people screen recorded the pictures on Iwobi's page and claimed the footballer wasn't passionate about his job because there was no single picture of him playing ball on the field. All the pictures he had seemed like they were taken on vacation. This pissed Nigerians and many proceeded to call him incompetent.
However, the trolling of Iwobi started right from Tunde Ednut's page as the celebrity blogger was the first to set Iwobi up for drags. Those who weren't in support of trolling Iwobi scolded Tunde Ednut for trying to do damage control after he encouraged his fans to drag the footballer.
