The former Commissioner for Works in Osun State, Mr. Remi Omowaye, has shown his support to chef Damilola Adeparusi who has embarked on a 120 jour cooking marathon.

He has also urged Nigerians to show their support to the young chef who is a 300 level student in the Federal University of Oye in Ekiti state.

He announced the donation of a sum of N100,000 to show his support to the chef. Recall Damilol began a 120 hour marathon to beat Hild Baci who set the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time at 100 hours just last month.

He released a statement and urged Nigerians to support the chef instead of discouraging her by criticizing her.

Recall Nigerians have began to criticize her for now waiting for Guinness World Record to confirm Hilda Baci’s Record first before estartin hers.

He went ahead to praise her for the meals she has been cooking which are traditional meals.

He said that records are made to be broken and claims she didn't commit a crime by attempting to break Hilda Baci’s Record.

He said healthy competition isn't bad and the lady is trying to make a name for herself.

He also claimed that the sky is big enough for everyone to fly.
