Founder of African Film Festival, Kelechi Eke receives American President Lifetime Achievement award
Mr Kelechi Eke who is the founder of African film Festival (TAFF) Texas has received an American President Lifetime Achievement award. Kelechi Eke is a film director and he was recently presented with this award.
He shared a post of the event on his Instagram page recently. He revealed how honoured he was to receive such an award. He expressed his gratitude to have been honoured to receive this award. The award was to recognise his years of service to humanity.
This award was established by executive order by a former American President George W. Bush. It is meant to honour people (volunteers) who give hundreds of hours per year to humanitarian service.
He was given the award during the 2023 World Humanitarian Day. This was held on the 29th of August, 2023.
