Funke Akindele’s movie A Tribe Called Judah is now the most-watched cinema movie in the country ahead of her last project Battle on Buka Street which had 600,000 in sales. The 46-year-old now has three highest-grossing movies; Omo Ghetto The Saga (2020), Battle on Buka Street (2022), and A Tribe Called Judah (2023). celebrating this milestone, the 46-year-old shared a post on Instagram expressing her gratitude for the immense support towards her movie and asking fans to never stop.
The news broke out a few hours later that the record-breaking movie had been pirated and released for download on illegal streaming platforms. Netizens, however, have confirmed that the link is available for download. Unfortunately, this may slow down the growth of the movie in some way and give people free access to Funke Akindele’s work.
