Ayra Starr has been nominated for different awards since she came into the limelight but this is her first time getting nominated at the Grammy Awards. Her song, RUSH, was nominated for the Best African Music Performance category alongside City Boys by Burna Boy, Amapiano by Asake X Olamide, and Unavailable by Davido X Musa Keys. Ayra Starr who is currently signed to the Marvins Records has made not only herself proud, but her family and fans.
Before now, there was nothing like The Best African Music Performance in the Grammy Awards. But Afrobeat singers have proven to be masters of their crafts hence the inclusion of that category to honor them. The Award will be presented for the first time at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in 2024. Who do you think would take home the award from this category?
