Groom to be killed by stray bullet
A man who was a soon to be groom has been killed by a stray bullet recently.
This young man has been identified as Adebowale Toromade.
He was killed the same day he came back from his introduction ceremony at the hometown of his pregnant fiancée.
This incident happened when he had gone to celebrate the new ‘Okada riders’ union’
He had gone to join some other members of this new union at Moro junction when this happened to him.
As soon as he got back from his fiancée's hometown, he went to this place and was killed.
As their celebration was on, gunshots were heard and this had caught people unaware as they didn't know where it came from. A stray bullet had then hit Adebowale.
Other than Adebowale, another person was also shot. People rushed them both to the hospital. The doctors declared Adebowale dead as soon as they arrived at the hospital while the other person was responding to treatment.
Yemisi Opalola who is the Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command has confirmed this incident. She revealed that they have begun investigation into the case.
