Gunmen kill Nigerian singer, Zuwa in the United States
A well-known Nigerian singer was killed recently in the United States. This singer has been identified as Zuwa. He is an American-based Nigerian singer and songwriter. The cause of his death was a gunshot wound to his head. He was killed on Sunday, the 8th of January 2024. It is indeed a sad and tragic period for his family, friends and loves ones. His fans have also expressed their shock and sadness over the matter and have shared their condolences for the family of the deceased.
Zuwa, a Nigerian singer was based in America and it was here he lost his life. His real name is Osazuwa Agbonayinma, but he was famously known by his stage name, which is Zuwa. Zuwa was one of the members of the singing group named Roze. He and his brother who's name is Eghosa Rodney Agbonayinma, also knonw as Row, made up the singing group. They have released a good number of songs together. One of their hit songs includes ‘Ileke’ which was released in 2020. He was a well educated singer and also had a master’s degree in architecture.
His father is a well-known former Nigerian lawmaker, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma. It was his father who confirmed hus death of newsmen. He revealed this to Channels TV on Tuesday, 9th of January 2024. He stated that his son had been killed by a gun shot in the back of the head. More details about his death are still sketchy and not much is known about how he died or the circumstances surrounding his death. The Motives of the gunmen who shot Zuwa, is also not known for now.
