Gunmen shoot Nigerian Man and others to death In South Africa

Some suspected gunmen have shot a Nigerian man to death recently in South Africa.
The victim has been identified as Emma Ezeuko and he is from Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State in Nigeria.

This incident happened when some gunmen shot him in Durban, located in KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa.

This happened last week Tuesday which was the 25th of July. He was killed just 5 days after he had celebrated his birthday.

The details of the incident are still quite unclear as of now but investigation into the case is still ongoing.

This man wasn't the only victim who was killed by these gunmen. Reports states that some other passengers who had been traveling in a cab had also been shot dead by these gunmen. These passengers were 4 in number. This was at Port Shepstone in Durban.

Sources revealed that these gunmen had gone to the taxi and began shooting at then and 5 people died. 4 others had survived the shooting but sustained serious bullet injuries.
The injured victims have been taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the shooting. They have however begun a thorough investigation into this matter. Investigation is being done into 4 counts of murder and also 4 counts of attempted murder.

Details of the incident are quite unclear so it isn't known if this Nigerian man was among the passengers killed or he was killed in another shooting.

Some of his friends have shared his photos on social media to mourn him. Some recounted the last time they saw him and how he had only just celebrated his birthday recently.

Some have also prayed for justice in this case and that the perpetrators be found and death with.
