Bayern Munich are engulfed in a difficult phase of the season, with their inability to hit top gear this term, despite the abundance of quality in the team.

The Bavarians made many notable signings during the summer of 2023, signing notable names, including; Harry Kane and Kim Min-Jae.

Kane joined Bayern Munich from Spurs and many have attributed his move to the Munich-based club as one that came about due to his desire to win a major silverware.

Bayern Munich haven't had the best of seasons this term, as they aren't in the DFB-POKAL, having been bundled out of the competition by Saarbrücken in November 2023.

Thomas Tuchel's side are also 5 points behind Bayern Leverkusen, who appear to be running away with the German Bundesliga title.

This could see the end of Bayern Munich’s 11-year run of winning the Bundesliga, but they can't be written off at this stage of the campaign, given the side's ability to claw their way back through difficult circumstances, as it was witnessed last campaign.

Xabi Alonso's side are also a team full of surprises, as they are unbeaten in the Bundesliga this campaign, having won 17 matches and drawn 4 in 21 games.

They have also secured 4 points from a possible 6 against Bayern Munich this season, playing out a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Allianz Arena, before recording a smashing 3-0 win at the Bay Arena on February 10, 2024.

Given the possibility that the German Bundesliga title could be out of their reach this term, their only chance at a silverware could come via the UEFA Champions League.

Definitely, it will not be an easy task for Thomas Tuchel's side to pull up, due to the intense competition they will face from teams gunning for the crown.

Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan are some stellar teams still in the competition and they are also vying to win the trophy.

Anyway, the possibility of Bayern Munich winning or going trophyless this season, could result in a record for two of their notable players, namely; Harry Kane and Kingsley Coleman.

If Bayern Munich fail to win a trophy this campaign, it will become the first season that Coleman will be ending without a silverware.

Kingsley Coleman has had a trophy-laden career and it will be fascinating to see how he would react if he ends this season without a trophy.

Harry Kane is the utter opposite of Coleman, with the Englishman yet to win a major trophy throughout his entire career.

The likelihood of Bayern Munich winning a trophy this campaign will signal the end of that infamous record.

Certainly, Harry Kane and Kingsley Coleman will be hoping to end the season on a high, with at least one silverware.
