Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka popularly known as Ruger finally breaks silence on why he left D'Prince's record label Jonzing World.
In a series of tweets, Ruger revealed that the record label was enjoying the huge sum of money they were making off him and they couldn't push him any further. Amidst their fallout, Ruger appreciates the label for giving him a platform. At the same time, he couldn't renew the contract after 5 years because it would be a waste of time.
Ruger disclosed that the label used his money to fund new artists without his knowledge. He added that while he has a lot to say, he is treading carefully because he doesn't want to get stabbed by his former boss D'Prince.
Ruger ended his contract with D'Prince's Jonzing World records at the beginning of 2024 after setting up his record label BlownBoy Entertainment. D'Prince signed Ruger into Jonzing World in 2021.
