Hilda Baci denies charging fans N25,000 to meet her in Abuja
Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has come out to deny the rumours of her charging fans N25k to meet her.
She took to her Instagram page to clear the air about this. She says she never charged people such an amount and then explained what actually occurred that led to such.
Recall that rumours had gone round that Hilda was charging people 25k to meet her in Abuja. This had emerged from a misunderstanding with a brand who wanted her to make an appearance at an event.
The brand had created a flier which showed an evening with Hilda and the price was there.
She says she couldn't be asking people to pay to see her so she won't share the flier
They had told her the reason the put that amount on the flier they wanted to share was that if people don't pay, they can meet up with expenses of the event.
She says she doesn't want people to pay for meet and greet and the event isn't only about her. She is just making an appearance there. She says if she will do anything for her fans, she would do it for free.
She also took to her Instagram story to explain some things as well as share the screenshots of her chats with these people. She also shared some voice notes to clear her name from the rumours flying around.
She said she even reverted the money back to them because she wasn't interest again especially with the way things had turned out.
