Hollywood actor Danny Masterson sentenced to jail for 30 years for rape
Popular American actor Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years in Jail for rape. The actor is popularly known for his role in “That ’70s Show,”. He was sentenced on Thursday, the 7th of September, 2023.
He committed the act 2 decades ago and was finally sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping two women in his home. This incident occured between 2001 and 2003. It occured in his home swanky Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles. He was convicted in May of drugging and raping these women who are fellow members of the Church of Scientology.
He was given 15 years imprisonment each consecutively for the 2 crimes which add up to 30 years. The defendant claimed his innocence but the Judge, Charlaine Olmedo said his actions had taken away another person’s voice and choice.
The defendant, Danny is married to another actress known as Bijou Phillips and they have a 9 year old daughter. Danny will now be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life after he is released from prison.
