21-year-old Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe professionally known as Ayra Starr has revealed how she handles criticism as an artist.
Ayra Starr has always faced criticism from the public, especially for her unapologetic and feisty nature which is obvious in her lifestyle and dressing. She has been called out severally for wearing short dresses to shows and events. Recall that Ayra Starr recently faced a backlash online for not greeting legendary musician King Sunny Ade properly.
In a recent interview, Ayra Starr said she sees most people's comments about her but she has learned to ignore them. She described this as being in her "Let them era". She stated that if the comments come off as too malicious, she uses the block button to ward off negative energy.
Ayra Starr said she has learnt that her attention gives things value so she doesn't rate such people anymore.
