Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo popularly known as Solidstar has opened up on the effects of drug addiction and how methamphetamine also known as "ice" took him from stardom to penury.
Solidstar revealed this in an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast. Solidstar discussed how he wasted his years battling drug addiction and how he spent days at the Federal Neuro-Psychatric hospital in Yaba, Lagos due to his deteriorating mental health. Solidstar disclosed that he sold all his properties and was evicted from his apartment.
Recalling his past experiences, Solidstar revealed how he wanted to travel to the United Kingdom without having a visa. He informed his brother and asked him to travel with him. He even boarded a taxi to the airport without a penny in his account, assuring the taxi driver that he would pay him once he arrived at his destination.
