Nedu, the host of the Honest Bunch Podcast has expressed his dissatisfaction over the reactions of people since Mohbad died. He said that when Mohbad dropped the EP "BLESSED" no one streamed his songs. He even sent messages to fellow artists, some refused to open it while some restricted his account.

To Nedu, the reactions from people could be counted as hypocrisy. He said that people who never posted Mohbad when he was alive all posted his pictures with RIP in their captions.

He said that he couldn't post Mohbad's picture because he never interacted with him when he was alive. So, posting his picture when he was already six feet under didn't seem right to him.

Since Mohbad died, some of the tracks in his BLESSED EP and LIGHT EP have topped the charts. Songs like Peace, Ask About Me, Sabi, Feel Good, Sorry, and Pariwo, were streamed by millions of people and have occupied the list of top 10 trending songs in Nigeria.
