Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D'Banj reveals how his mother planned his wedding and got him married at his father's birthday party without his knowledge.
In a recent interview with TVC News, D'Banj revealed how his mother helped him avoid all the intricacies of getting married as a celebrity. Though he wasn't ready for marriage, D'Banj revealed how his mother convinced him to bring his girlfriend to his father's birthday party.
He wanted an elaborate wedding but to his surprise, his mother had secretly planned a wedding for him on his father's birthday. On getting there, his parents presented him and his wife with a wedding cake. D'Banj appreciated his mother for taking the right step and preventing social media from influencing his married life.
D'Banj got married in 2016 to Lineo Didi Kilgrow and they have two children together. Lineo is a businesswoman from Jos in Plateau State. Unlike other celebrities, D'banj keeps his married life from the public so not much is known about his marriage.
