How pharmacies are scamming Nigerians, BBN Doyin
Reality TV star Doyin just posted her observations about how pharmacies are scamming people in Nigeria. She said that pharmacists try to sell off the most expensive medicine on their shelves whenever a customer complains about any health issue. Funnily enough, they know of other affordable options that are available when people want to make a purchase, but they would deliberately try to sell off expensive medicine to unsuspecting Nigerians. Doyin added how we keep blaming the government for the smallest thing whereas we are the ones causing problems for ourselves.
She said, "When you go to the pharmacy and you tell them you want to buy a pill for the most basic thing, it can be something as small as constipation, right? These people are trying to sell the most expensive item on the shelf to you. Why will somebody come to the pharmacy complaining about constipation and you're telling them there's a pill they have to insert in their snus just because it costs N45,000? What happened to Andrew Liver Salt, what happened to Liquid paraffin? These things are very cheap, very affordable right?"
