How we almost got kidnapped by a bolt rider in Lagos, two ladies narrate horrific experience
Two beautiful ladies have come out to narrate a horrific experience they recently had with a bolt rider in Lagos State. They were going to purchase some items at the ShopRite in Lekki and had booked a ride. The bolt app showed the face, color, and number plate of the driver they booked but after waiting for some minutes, a red car with the same driver drove their way. He agreed that the original car which showed on the app was grey but he couldn't work with it because it had no fuel.
One of the ladies said she didn't buy into his explanation but her friend convinced her to go ahead with what the man had said since his face was the one showing in the bolt app. They both entered the car after a lot of sweet talking from the man. That was the first mistake they made. The second one was that they didn't pay attention to the route the driver was taking because they were busy with their phones. It was after one of them noticed that they'd sat in the car for long, that she asked the driver what was happening.
It was already 9 pm and he lied about taking the shortest route to Lekki. The ladies noticed that the environment wasn't looking like they were in Lekki and demanded to exit the car. The driver didn't agree at first but after much persuasion, they got down and paid him for the ride. With the aid of Google Maps, they found out that they were in Surulere and wondered how Surulere's route and Lekki's route were the same. They were thankful that they didn't end up getting kidnapped by the driver who appeared to be a kidnapper.
