"I didn't know I'll end up acting" Juliana Oloyede reveals

Popular Nigerian actress, Juliana Olayode has revealed that she didn't know she was going to to up being being actress. She recently disclosed this during an interview and she shared that she didn't expect to end up in the acting industry. Juliana Oloyede is known famously as Toyo Baby. This name is gotten from the role she played in a Nigerian series named Jenifa’s Diary. She played the role of a lady named Toyosi and she was fondly called Toyo baby.

Juliana Oloyede is a Nigerian actress, sexual purity activist and motivational speaker. The interview she granted recently was with Potpourri Olayode. She spoke about her journey in the movie industry, the challenges she has faced and how she got into acting. She revealed that she never planned to be an actress. She shared that everything was just fate. She had believed that she would be a singer instead of an actress but the plan God had for her was different.

She disclosed that she wanted to sing ad have people from all over the world listen to her music. She believes this was God's plan for her and he brought her here. She revealed that she came into spotlight in the industry during Jenifas Dairy. According to her It was unplanned. She says she wasn't even prepared for the fame. She didn't imagine becoming that famous.

In her words "I think that sometimes in life you plan to do certain things and you have your five years plan written out and if you are somebody that submits your life to God at some point, God will disrupt your plans and put his own plan. He starts to lead your life in the way he wants it to go. I think that’s the typical story of my life. This whole acting was just God that launched me and put me in this direction"

She also spoke about Funke Akindele's movie which is titled ‘A Tribe called Judah’. She expressed her joy working with Funke Akindele once again like they did on Jenifa’s Diary. She shared that working with Funke is always good vibes, energy, fun and laughter.
She also spoke strongly about her values. She doesn't compromise on her values when it comes to talking up an acting role. She shared that she can reject a script if it doesn't align with her values.
She stated "I will reject a script 100% If it doesn’t align with my values"
