Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake breaks silence on losing his Grammy nomination.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Asake said he isn't bothered about losing his first Grammy nomination. He said he doesn't see it as a loss because he is certain he will get more nominations next year.
Asake's "Amapiano" was nominated for the Best African Music Performance category at the 66th Grammys. Unfortunately, he lost to South Africa's Tyla who won the maiden award category with her song "Water". Asake said he is optimistic about winning a Grammy Award next year because he will get more nominations.
