Speaking on his own music, Shallipopi said most people who listen to his songs don't understand his lyrics but they still enjoy it. He said he focuses more on making music that people can vibe to instead of being a lyricist.

He mentioned that there are some people who understand his song lyrics perfectly. He made an example of his viral hit Elon Musk, saying that the song is relatable to the Edo people.

He said his song Ex-convict will resonate more with those who were with him in prison when he made the song or those who have had similar experiences with him.

He expressed that a typical example is his colleague Seyi Vibez. He said though, when he listens to his music, he doesn't understand the lyrics because of the language.

"I listen to Seyi Vibez. But I don't really understand what he's saying. Even me, I know Seyi Vibez doesn't understand what I'm saying but he will vibe to it.", He added.

Shallipopi was one of the guest artists at Seyi Vibez show at Indigo 02 on Friday. He performed his viral hit Elon Musk and the crowd went wild as they sang along.
