Popular musician Ayra Starr reveals that she graduated from university at 18 years old.
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, is a musician and she is signed to Mavin Records.
She is known for dropping good music and one of her most recent songs 'Sability' has become a people's favourite.
She mentioned that her music career began after schooling which was at 18 years old.
Her mum said she had to go to school first before she would allow her to do any kind of music. For her, it was school first.
She mentioned she wanted to be a teenage popstar so she made sure she got into school early. Being a teenage popular was her goal which she worked towards.
She decided to write her WAEC a year before she was supposed to graduate. She just decided to try it, at ss2. She didn't even know if she was going to pass but she tried it regardless and she did pass.
She then got into the university in Benin Republic. Her studies were for 3 years and she has a degree in interest relations and political science.
Seeing as her course was for 3 years, she was able to graduate at 18 years old.
She has been considering getting another degree but hasn't had the time because she has been busy. She did mention she was taking piano lessons, French lessons and music lessons.
She mentioned that she comes from a musical background so she knew music was what she was going to do. She also mentioned that she likes reading books.
