Popular Nigerian musician, Mayorkun has revealed that he has one of the best relationships with Davido. He recently disclosed that this, is contrary to what other people (fans) may think about their relationship. He shared this during the latest episode of the Tea with Tay podcast hosted by actor Taymesan.
Mayorkun is a well-known Nigerian singer and songwriter. His full name is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel but he is known popularly as Mayorkun. He is 29 years old. He was born on the 23rd of March, 1994 in Osun state. He became famous after being signed by Davido after he released a cover of Davido's song titled "The Money".

Davido is a famous award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats singer. He is 30 years old and he is the founder of the DMW Record label. He has released numerous songs which have earned him numerous awards over the years.
Mayorkun was signed to Davido's record label known as Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) before leaving in 2021. Contrary to the public opinion, the duo are still on good terms even though Mayorkun is no longer signed to his record. He had announced his exit from DMW in 2021 and this was at the release party of his second album titled "Back In Office". During his interview with Taymesan, he shared his experience and how he left DMW.
In his interview he stated "Contrary to what other people think, I have one of the best relationships with Davido because I feel like he knows me and he understands the kind of person I am. Like if I dey vex for am now, he knows what to do. I'm not that difficult of a human being. It's just that I'm not posting davido everyday saying my best friend or something. The relationship is not for you (fans). They always forget that"
