Afrobeats superstar Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema calls out fellow artists who copy his style without giving him credit.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Prince of Afrobeats, as he is called, said he intends to make great changes in the African music industry. He referred to himself as the blueprint, saying he has always proven himself in his music, sound, shows, branding, etc.

Rema said he knows how many artists have copied him without giving him credit but he is proud of being a model for others to follow. He said, "I have so many plans for evolving the sound. I've always been one who just wants to change the game.

From sound to shows to branding. Even though some artists wouldn't give me that glory, I know how many people have copied my moves. I'm flattered by it. It shows I'm bringing something to the game."
