Jim Ovia, the Chairman and Founder of one of the leading commercial banks in Nigeria, Zenith Bank shares his story as he educates Nigerian youths on the ladder of success.
In an interview with Marketplace Africa, the Zenith Bank CEO revealed that he founded Zenith Bank with a sum of N20M, approximately $5M at the exchange rate of N4 in 1990. 20 years later, Zenith Bank's shareholders fund grew to $4bn with over a thousand percent in returns.
Jim Ovia advised Nigerian youths to stay focused and remain determined because such growth cannot be achieved anywhere around the world except in Nigeria. He urged the youths never to give up and face challenges head-on.

He also has an MBA from the University of Louisiana. He founded Zenith Bank in 1990. Jim Ovia also founded Visafone Communications Limited. He is 72 years old.
