Nollywood actress Jaiye Kuti has revealed that she tried leaving her marriage three times.
In a recent interview, Jaiye Kuti stated that about 85% of women want to leave their husbands. She revealed that she has planned on leaving her husband three times because being married isn't an easy task.
Jaiye Kuti stated that marriage is difficult because it involves two people coming from various cultures and backgrounds who have distinct beliefs. She further stated that before marriage, a man is bound to do right by his woman and give her all the care she needs but his true character unfolds when they get married.
Jaiye Kuti said as time goes on, couples may notice a change in behavior due to childbirth or other related factors. She added that men like to exert lordship over their women and some even cheat on their spouses.
