Nigerian singer Teniola Apata aka Teni revealed that she was once insulted because her younger sister graduated from the university before her.
In an interview with Pop Central, Teni revealed that she was still schooling in America when her younger sister joined her abroad for her university education.
The Malaika crooner recalled that at her sister's convocation ceremony, she was the loudest among the guests. She was so happy that she clapped the hardest in the room. Anytime she clapped, one of her aunties insulted her saying she had no shame. She added that her aunt said she ought to bury her face in shame.
Despite graduating from school late, Teni said she always knew she was a special child since she was little.
