"I was the first person to call myself a video vixen" Beverly Osu reveals
Popular Nollywood actress, Beverly Osu has claimed that she was the first person to calk herself a video Vixen in Nigeria. She revealed that she is the first to be addressed as a video vixen before others came up.
Beverly Osu is a well known Nigerian actress who is popularly known for her role in Chief Daddy and many others. She claimed in a recent interview to be the first video vixen especially after her feature in nigerian singer, Ice Prince’s his song titled ‘Oleku’ in 2011. She featured as a vixen in the video of the song.
She revaled that when she began calling herself a “video vixen”, many people opposed it saying she was a model not a vixen. She stated this on the latest episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, which was hosted by Taymesan.
In his words “I was literally the first person to call myself a video vixen [in Nigeria]. Yeah, proudly. People hated it but I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m a video vixen.’ And they were like, ‘Video vixens are… You don’t say that. Say you’re a model.’ I was like, ‘No, I’m a model but I’m a video vixen.”
