"I'd rather be singing" Asake reveals why he chose singing over dancing
Popular Nigerian singer, Asake has revealed the reason why he chose singing over dancing. Asake is a well-known award winning Nigerian singer. His real name is Ahmed Ololade, but he is known as Asake which he revealed to be his mother's name.
He recently shared that he prefers singing to dancing and singing revealed the reason behind his choice. He shared this during a recent interview stating that he prefers to sing. He revaled that the reason for preening singing is due to his love and want for money.
He revealed that he wasn't sure that dancing would brig forth as much financial success as he wanted like singing would have. He was honest in his revelation stating it was because he loves money and knew singing would bring it.
He stated “The reason I left dance is for my love for money. I want to be very honest. Dance is something that I love. But I’m not sure dance can give me the kind of money I want. Even if you want to make it so gangster-like and there are so many people bumping, you still need to use the dancers. So, as they work together, I think for the love of money, I’d rather be singing,”
He then added that if dancing would bring in much money, he would add both dancing and music together so he can have more money
