Nigerian singer and designer Abbey Chile Abuede popularly known as Sexy Steel said that if singer Olamide doesn't sing in five years, he will still be relevant.
In a recent interview, Sexy Steel said singer Olamide will forever have his respect because of his lifestyle. He said he has never seen him rant or complain about anything. Rather, he is strictly about his music. Sexy Steel said Olamide learnt all these things from music producer ID Cabasa who also has a similar trait.
Sexy Steel recalled that many years ago, he and Olamide and some other artists used to go for sessions at ID Cabasa's studio and Olamide would sit on the floor and begin to study other people in the room.
ID Cabasa also weighed in on the conversation saying he once had a conversation with Olamide and he told him he prefers to learn from other people's failures instead of their successes. Sexy Steel further stated that ID Cabasa did a great job in grooming Olamide to be the person he is today. He revealed how Olamide recorded about 150 songs and ID Cabasa didn't want to release it because he felt it wasn't yet time for him to.
Sexy Steel expressed that even if Olamide decides to stop releasing new music in five years to come, his relevance will never diminish because he has built himself up to that point. He said if Olamide picks a random person on the street and declares him as the next biggest artist, he is surely the one because everyone will support him.
