Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia popularly known as Omah Lay finally opens up on his mental state following his cryptic tweet a few weeks ago.
Recall that Omah Lay posted a cryptic tweet a few weeks ago, hinting that he is depressed. However, the "Soso" crooner who is mostly known for his depressing songs has finally addressed the "Afro-depression" tag fans place on his art.
In a recent interview, Omah Lay said he makes his music however he deems fit and he tries as much as possible to stay away from titles because he doesn't want to identify with any tag.
He said he doesn't care about what other people think. As long as they enjoy the music, he is okay with what fans call him. He said, "Some people dance to it, it's art. That's what I make and I just leave the world to enjoy it how they wanna enjoy it. The fans have their own opinion. I will never argue with that. If that's how they enjoy it, that's how they enjoy it"
