An Instagram comedian known as Emmanuel laments about how he cannot get accustomed to driving in Abuja. He said that Abuja is unlike Lagos where one encounters heavy traffic, noise, and roadside readers trying to sell their goods in traffic. He said, "Omo, driving in Abuja is so boring. You'll just be driving in Abuja and be sleeping because there's no traffic to hold you. No portholes."

He said if he was driving on Lekki-Epe express road, he would have dodged many portholes, tricycles, and dispatch riders. He said the fun of driving is in the entertainment he feeds his eye on during traffic.

Would you rather drive on a free highway and get to your destination on time or drive on a jampacked road with heavy traffic? Lagosians can relate to Emmanuel's complaints. Hardly will you drive in Lagos without someone cursing at you or a tricycle scratching your car from behind. Although Lagos is noisy and traffic is tiring, getting used to Abuja's serenity was a problem for this guy. Someone likened his case to that of those in a toxic relationship. "When you are used to toxic relationships, a peaceful relationship will feel boring."
