Nigerian singer Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner popularly known as Zoro has revealed that he will forever cherish the time he spent with Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad while he was alive.

Before Mohbad's death, Zoro spent some time with the singer and the both of them recorded a song together titled Medicine After Death which was released after his death.

Recall that before the song was released, Zoro promised to donate all the royalties made from their collaboration to Mohbad's son Liam.

In a recent interview with Cool FM, Zoro said he is grateful that he met a real one like Mohbad because there are no real ones left in the industry. Zoro said he hasn't seen the kind of energy Mohbad exuded in anyone and he will forever cherish the moments he had with him.

Zoro revealed that he and Mohbad had a conversation in 2022 about what was happening to him but he'd like to keep the details to himself as a sign of respect.

He said when they linked up in the studio this year, they didn't have time to talk about it but he proffered solutions to the problems Mohbad told him he had last year. Zoro added that he only knew about the natural issues Mohbad faced. He said wasn't aware of the external problems Mohbad faced around other people.


Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner popularly known as Zoro is a 33-year old Nigerian indigenous rapper known for his use of Igbo dialect in his songs. He started singing in 2010 and since then, he has released songs like Ayo'm, Naira to Pounds among others.
