Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwaseyi has taken to IG to mourn the demise of singer Mohbad. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, whose stage name was Mohbad, died at the young age of 27 on the 12th of September 2023.
When Mohbad was alive, actress Bukunmi was one of the those who supported him at a time he desperately needed help. Out of dejection and worry, she wrote, "I got you. ❤️. That was your last message and symbol in our chat. I’m sad and happy at the same time. Because you are in a better place now. And no one would come after your life again my friend. You are safe now Imole. It’s a honour that I was able to show my last support and love while you were here. Good night Oladimeji."
The statement "No one would come after your life again" got many people thinking about how much trauma and fear Mohbad had to deal with when he was alive. He constantly received treatments for hypertension and had to live every day in fear. Also, it was reported that people from the Marlian Records threatened him after he left the record label and that had a huge toll on his health and career.
